Alex Steil, Online Editor-in-Chief

My name is Alex Steil and I’m a senior online editor-in-chief this year. I’m principal cellist of the Con Amici Chamber Orchestra, associate principal of the Stillwater Concert Orchestra, and also play in the Minnesota Youth Symphonies. Aside from writing and music, I also enjoy reading — mostly historical works, either about events or of significance; I‘m also a barista at Starbucks. When I graduate high school, I would either like to be a professional orchestral cellist or a political correspondant for The Washington Post.
