Hannah Sween, Editor-in-Chief

Hannah Sween is a senior and a Print Editor-in-Chief for the Stillwater Pony Express. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of The Boom Site Literary Magazine. When outside of school, she enjoys a variety of dance styles, but her favorite is Irish dancing.  Hannah has been competitively Irish dancing for an impressive 13 years!  In the high school, she plays the flute in the school band, is one of the flute section leaders and is Treasurer on the elected band council.  This year, she is the President of the Young Democrats of Stillwater Club and a Senior Officer for NHS.  Her favorite cookies are her Grandma’s homemade molasses cookies.

The private page is not easily accessible. In order to gain access one has to know someone in the group, request that they allow them to request to join the group and then get accepted. This makes it incredibly difficult to use the conversations in the group as evidence to the public of maltreatment and malice because it is difficult to ascertain in the first place.

"We have a Vikings football that has been signed by David Morgan. We're using a ticket system for the auction. So someone could buy a $1 ticket, and it could get drawn out and they would get that football for $1," chair of the event, Peggy Rantanen says. Other items in the silent auction included several movie night baskets complete with popcorn and candies, homemade quilts and other knitted goods, as well as toy baskets and home decor.

Ayuna Lamb-Hickson is pictured above with two friends from her dance school who are also her competitors in their age level, Roisin (center) and Maddy (right). Not many people know that Lamb-Hickson Irish dances but she's okay with that. "It brings us all closer, the dancers. It's like this thing that we love and we train so hard for. It makes me feel like I have this special thing," Lamb-Hickson said.

Immediately aafter recieving their pocket Constitutions, many of the fifth-graders at Andersen Elementary dove straight into the document to check it out. When asked why it was important to have documents like the Constitution, one student responded that "I think they're mostly to keep us civil and not in chaos!"
