Many memories were made and the mites had a lot of fun during this hockey festival which made for a fun-filled weekend for mites hockey players.   "It was super family friendly. I saw tons of families. Grandparents, brothers and sisters, parents watching these kids. It was great pond hockey like old fashioned pond hockey which was fun for the kids," says Ligday. "It was a great family event and atmosphere," Glanzer adds.

Stickler plays strong defense on the field and will be back this season to play the sport she loves. This wasn't easy, Stickler had to push herself and stay motivated to work to recover. "I kept a little book of things where I wrote what was super important to me throughout my recovery.
