Olivia Arkell is a Junior at Stillwater Area High School and takes on the role of Social Media Reporter.  She has 4 siblings and plays hockey. Her hobbies include playing tennis and lacrosse in her free time and plans on hopefully taking writing/journalism in college after graduating high school.

On election day Juniors Megan Friederichs and Avery Housley ran against two other Juniors Eve and Isabel, both sets had a successful campaigning and did a great job.

As Juniors Eve Thompson and Isabel Day ran for Student Council president last week they had a whole pack of supporters who voted for them to hand them a win!

Juniors Avery Housley and Megan Friederichs pose in front of there large sign they had made for the upcoming election. "I am so happy we had the opportunity to be apart of the election, it was a lot of fun." Said Housley.

Members of the Amnesty International club sit at a table in the upper rotunda for SAHS students to ask them questions about human rights and also give students the opportunity to sign petitions for human rights.

Photo by Braden Cousineau Boerner is always looking to improve his team, this year he has brought some height to their advantage. "I expect a high level of performance from my team this year, with the new addition of Bryan Winger we should have a new threat because he is so tall. Last year my team didn't end up doing so well but this year we plan to change that and beat out the competition."

Two students that are part of a club here at Stillwater called Amnesty international sit in the upper rotunda while informing students and teachers more about Human Rights and the effect they have on some country's.

Many students gathered while a guest speak came into the auditorium to speak about human rights last Wednesday when it was Human Rights Day.

Here is a guest speaker from last Wednesday afternoon speaking and informing students here on human rights and importance of them being applied throughout country's

This past Wednesday it was National Rights day at Stillwater High School, a couple of the board members gather in the upper rotunda to get signatures of students then to be sent out to country's were human rights aren't being accompanied.

Senior Superfans Grace Charpentier, Megan Aller and Erin Theits dress in all white for the whiteout against Roseville in the first game of the Ponies 2014 season. Grace holds the flag that excites Pony Pride when it's waved. "They are always so energetic!" said junior Ella Janochoski, "it motivates us all to go to the games!"
