Chloe Squires is a junior at Stillwater Area High School, where she is involved with The Pony Express Newspaper and National Honors Society. Within the newspaper Chloe is a traditional writer for the "student life" section as well as a photography editor. Chloe enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching Netflix. Chloe has also visited Mexico 8 times and is in the process of planning her next trip!

It was recently decided that the A La Carte will be open after school. Students that stay after will now have the option to grab a snack. "It could affect me by just giving me on like a full stomach without eating a full course meal," Alex Wilhelmy explained.

With the A La Carte now being available after school, students have more opportunities to get a bite to eat before their next commitment."People that stay after school wanted to be able to get snacks. Uncrustables, Gatorade, whatever so we decided we are going to try it right now until the end of the year and see how it goes. See if it makes enough revenue that we can continue keeping it open," kitchen manager Sara Nelson explained.

The A La Aarte is now open after school. Students that stay after will now have the option to grab a snack. “I stay after a lot for sports or homework so it’s nice to have another option for food,” junior Belle Edling explained. With the a la carte now being available after school, students have more opportunities to get a bite to eat before their next commitment. “The A La Carte food is pretty good, I usually eat it every day,” explained junior Ava Brune.

Kindergarten spanish immersion teacher Jennifer Nelson helps her students with math problems. In the classroom, the majority of the talking is done in spanish to help students learn new words and understand the language better. “It’s fun to see how excited they get about learning,” Nelson explains.
