Bella Anderson is a junior as Stillwater Area High School. She is a frequent traveler, crossfit enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with her friends. At SAHS she is involved in key club and art club. Her role in the Pony Express is a social media editor.

Many companies, magazines or even people on social media retouch their images, which is promoting a fake sense of reality and is creating unrealistic body standards that are not healthy nor achievable by many people. "Editing pictures makes everyone look their best and then you compare your fake beauty to someone else’s fake beauty," said Tori Kelm.

Continuous cycle of stress causes difficulty in learning

Willow River State Park in Hudson, Wi is a great place to go to reduce stress. They have great trails to hike and beautiful views all year round. Junior Dylan Tischer says, "A lot of times when we get homework it is very unnecessary and a lot of busy work and it stresses kids out and degrades them from doing other activities."

Going to the gym is another great way to get rid of stress. Junior Dylan Tischer says, "Exercise is a very common thing that I see students use to reduce stress."

The boom site is another place students enjoy going to when stressed out. Being outside can be very beneficial to students health. Junior Tori Kelm says, "A lot of it has to do with making time for different things."

When stressed out many students enjoy taking baths. Lush bath bombs are a great way to help relax due to their beautiful look and relaxing scent. Junior Tori Kelm says, "I see many students doing drugs, working out and also some people alleviate stress by not doing any of their work and sleeping."

The team has a new coach this year who Jared Christian says, “He can be hard on us but that is the whole point because they want us to succeed.”

Jared Christian says, “There is a very good chance to go to state this year,” due to all of the great players on the team.

Jared Christian says, “There are few injuries on some good players but otherwise we got a lot of young guys and the future of the team looks good.”

This is part of the gym where the Ponies practice and have meets. Jared Christian says, “Their are more experienced kids.” referring to the team this year.

This is the entrance to the wrestling gym. Jared Christian says, “There's always something to work on.”
