Hi, My name is Nissa Wilcox and I am a senior layout editor in chief this year. I am on the high school swim and dive team and the high school synchronized swimming team.  Besides playing sports, I love hanging out with my friends and family. I am most looking forward to writing and reporting for the Pony Express this year.

The current operating levy generates funding for students to learn, paying for materials, teachers, and technology. The levy also keeps class sizes small so students can have close relationships with classmates and teachers, if a new levy is not chosen in November, class sizes will expand.

The district website was released on Jan. 12 after over a year of redesigning by district staff. The site is fully accessible, mobile-friendly, and has a quick translate option located in the bottom right corner.

Students can grab lunch from three locations this school year, the main rotunda, the Pony Market, and the main lunch line. At least one cafeteria worker looks over each location to help students and count meals.

Ms. Yates B-day social studies class using part of their 84 minute class period as work time. This year, in addition to a quarter schedule, class times have also been adjusted in length from 55 minutes to 84 minutes.
