A few things about Sam. First off she uploaded a rough version of this on accident. She is currently a junior at SAHS, she went to SJHS and before that went to Lily Lake Elementary. She is very involved in the music department, between 2 jazz bands, pep band and concert band she has her hands full, but she spends a lot of time with her younger sister, Morgan. Sam’s favorite food is grilled cheese but she’s never been able to make them without burning it. Right now, as far as newspaper, she finds interviewing people intimidating but she is excited for when she gets more comfortable.

Twitter fights are increasing in popularity as technology upgrades so is the way people are expressing their opinion.

Today teens are using social media as a meduim to argue and bicker, creating heated tensions both in and out of school.

Gerry Brine, co owner of Brines Bar and Restruant begins the day of bocce ball tournaments by filling out the starting sore board. This outlines who will play who in this double elimination game. He says, "Its kind of annoying but they come up with some pretty funny names."

Officer Chris Felsch has attended almost every years bocce ball games as a safety precaution. he says, "yeah I love watching everything, that's why I keep coming back."

Enhelders only complaints about her work is she wishes there were more time in the day, she says, "Its not about the money, if it were for the money I wouldn't be here." Enhelder works late each day to improve students and teachers experiences and she enjoys doing it.

Enhelder, along with everything else, works as the assistant for the assistant principal. "Right now Mr. Howlett is out on medical leave so Im working with Mrs. Otto while she fills in." Her work requires her to be both flexible while organized for herself and others around her.

With much information all around, Enhelder keeps everything she can organized for easy access and little frustration. Throughout the day she is approached by students with problems from all ends of the spectrum, "Id prefer less phone calls but I love the kids, I wish there was more time."

Located on the First floor closest the the lunch room is the White Pony Center, here Secretary, Shelly Enhelder, manages both counters and the assistant principal schedules along with many other things.

Enhelder has worked at SAHS for 12 years running, during the school year she enjoys keeping the office decorated and visitor friendly, "I have to be careful about religious holidays but I like to keep things to pony colors while still staying fun."

While some artists were wildly successful, others didn't sell as much as they had hoped. Despite the lack of sales, painter Angie Malin says, "Its a good start but you have to build up your collectors." She, along with many others, successful and not as successful, plan to continue putting their works on display in hopes of finding fans.

Art shop pops up for holiday season

At the Stillwater Art Pop Up Shop, put on by St. Criox Art, over 40 artists were represented and on display, featuring everything from jewelry, glass work, paintings, postcards and many more.

With each artist accepted into the event working at least 3 shifts over the 6 weeks open, they are given a chance to see the progress and process of different people. Oil painter, Angie Malin, says, "It has been nice to see people and talk to them and see where they are at perusing their dream of creating what they create."

With space provided by 45 degrees, for their third year, the Pop Up Shop offers a chance for artists primarily in the valley to get their art noticed in ways that, on their own, might not have been possible. St Croix Art member Mimi Exon says, "It gives you great visibility. A lot of people come downtown to go to dinner or shop so we've had great foot traffic."

The group of artists brought together by St Croix Art have formed a community apart from the one most of Stillwater knows. Although they are close, painter Mimi Exon says the group has a, "very supportive environment. I think that there are so many talented artists in the valley and there's room for everyone."

Tennis player, Lily Marchon, admires trophies displayed won by previous years teams. "I'm so happy to be apart of something that brings people together enough to work hard towards a common goal." Marchon plans on continuing tennis throughout her high school carrerr.
