Ryan Berg is 16 years old in 11th grade. He has two brothers and one sister, all younger. He has been playing football since third grade and hockey since kindergarten. He is a member of the SNO social media editorial staff.

Outside on of the new academic wings, there are multiple classrooms inside on both floors, all ready to hold freshmen. Junior Amit Kumra says, “I think its great to have freshmen coming, now stillwater can be a ‘real’ high school.”

View of the new second floor weight room, also includes gymnastics pits, and full court basketball courts. Basketball captain Manny Jingco says, “The new courts are very nice, I’m glad our team can use these facilities.”

Another section of the academic buildings, on the east side of the school. Sophomore Logan Huber says, “We added a lot to the school, and I thought it was big before.”

The newly added entrance to Pony Stadium, the arc is where fans will walk in. Football quarterback Mark Roettger says, “It is a super cool addition, it definitely adds sparkle to the field.”

Captain Danielle Keran performing on the balance beam in the meet at SAHS. She had a great run this time. Keran says, “I just went and did what I knew I could do, it was a lot of fun and felt great to be out there again.”

The girls practice in the SAHS gymnasium. Taken after the first meet, smiles all around. “After the meet we were all happy, but that doesn't mean we can stop working,” Lauren Thole says.

Coach Anthony Alvarado on the field with the defensive backs late in the first half. Alvarado says, "I really enjoyed watching the girls play. Defensive back is one of the hardest positions to learn and these girls inherited my no fly-zone defense with ease."

Junior team warming up about 15 minutes before the game. They were putting on eye black, bonding and stretching out. Coach Mark Roettger says, "Some girls were really nervous and some were excited but this is when everyone just started getting ready."

Murr carries the ball down the field with speed. This is his second year playing cornerback on the varsity football team.
