Photo by Megan McGuire Sweet Taste of Italy is located in the Valley Ridge Mall just off Highway 36 in Stillwater. They are open Monday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., offering a breakfast menu in the morning full of skillets, omelets, french toast and meat and potato platters, along with a dinner menu in the evening. "It's nice to have a new Italian restaurant offered in Stillwater. I hope it stays around for awhile because the location is convenient and their menus offer a variety of different food," said junior Luke Hauge.

Senior Brooke Thingvold hosted 16- year-old Marie Chavrier this summer. Chavrier was also the same girl that hosted her in France for three weeks in August of 2013. Brooke and Marie are one example of the many friendships that form between students of different ethnicities. These programs benefit students and adults alike and teach the culture and traditions to both countries involved.
