Max Korth loves to run, and is on the Stillwater Cross Country and Track team. He loves to go fishing and hunting. He loves animals, especially his dog Dakota. His position at the at the Pony Express Newspaper is a SNO Sports Editor.

“Before most matches, I like to get a feel for the course,” Anderson says. To be a great golfer you have to be committed and practice.

Very popular local course, Applewood Hills, played on by a number of Stillwater residents, and golfers can enjoy apples from apple trees planted on the course. One of the courses around Stillwater where the team will practice and improve. “We have seven Juniors and five Sophs who will all see at least some Varsity action this year,” Scanlon says. With such a small team the best way to play varsity is practice.

Applewood Hills golf course, a great course in Stillwater where the team will occasionally practice. “Practice rounds help me a lot before I play a match,” Anderson says.

One of the home courses where the Ponies practice, Oak Glen. “I’m looking forward to playing with one of the best teams that have played for Stillwater,” senior Parker Anderson says.

Stillwater Country Club, home to most home events and invitationals for Stillwater, where many talented teams face off. “The real strength of our team is depth, our challenge will be who to pick at the right time to step up into that spot,” Coach John Scanlon says.

Saudi Arabia and Venezuela in the last five years have provided the United States with the millions, even billions, of barrels of oil, which accounts for the large economy in the middle east and Venezuela because of their oil industries. However this oil is much more expensive to transport overseas, than it would be to have available oil within the United States. This is one of the reasons that some people believe that the pipeline should be built, so we could rely less on foreign nations for oil.
