Officers and members of Amnesty Club quickly sort the different hygiene items onto various desks. "Amnesty is a club interested in working for human rights," junior Amelia Torgerson says.

Bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash have been collected and sorted. "A lot of people in our community aren't able to purchase these things on their own so they go to Valley Outreach where they can get groceries and items such as these hygiene products that students donate," senior Corri Gardner says.

Members of Amnesty Club try to figure out what item is sorted into which pile. "We had posters around the school and had different club members go around and talk to the classes. They actually provided the boxes to the classes," junior Amelia Torgerson says.

Boxes of toothpaste and toothbrushes pile high on separate desks. "Valley Outreach let's us know that there's a lot of students at our school and a lot of members of our community that we probably see and talk to everyday that we wouldn't expect get help from these items," senior Corri Gardner says.

Sophmore Wyatt Ecker plays the lead character Richard Hannay in "39 Steps." "Richard Hannay is more of a suave, debonair gentleman type character. He's very smooth, like a James Bond character," Ecker says.

Wyatt Ecker, who plays Richard Hannay, rehearses with Grif Sadow. "The play is about a man named Richard Hannay, the character I play in the show, and he meets this woman at the theater. She's a german spy and it's very mysterious, and he's very interested," Ecker describes.

A few members of cast of "39 Steps" prepare for rehearsal of the first scene. "I already feel like everyone's going to work well together, " Wyatt Ecker says. The cast is excited to begin rehearsing.
