High expectations for boys hockey season

The players get ready for a scrimmage against Holy Family with a game of soccer. This is a great way to get ready to compete before a game. "The difference this year is talent and youth," Hamilton said. "We hope those other pieces come together."

The team warms up before their scrimmage against Holy Family on Nov. 19th. They eventually went on to win the scrimmage 4-2. "Our goal this year is to win the program's first conference championship," senior goaltender Josh Benson said. "But more importantly, we want to go to state and win the championship."

The team works on their skills during a small area game at Lily Lake on Nov. 20. The coaches run the game, while some players take a break to get some rest. "Our expectations are work hard, get better, and have fun." Hamilton said.

The boys varsity team practices at Lily Lake on Nov. 20. A small game is being played at the end of practice to increase intensity and work on skills. "We're going to have to work really hard," Benson said. "With the talent we have, plus hard work , it will be hard for us to lose."

All newspaper students recently learned the do's and don't' s of photography, and this is a great representation of the experience. "I look like an Asian," said Brandt.

Junior, Kathleen Billinglsey, poses for a photo outside of the English hallway on October 27th. This shows how enjoyable photography can be and how Billingsley really loves to be photographed. "I love myself," Billingsley said. "I love when people take pictures of me."

Colin Corcoran weaves through defenders while playing for his summer team, the "Minnesota Loons". "During the summer I played lacrosse with the 'Minnesota Loons," Corcoran said. "We traveled to tournaments in Denver, Chicago, and Delaware."
