Disney on Ice is a opportunity available to O'Connor once she finishes testing. Her dream once was to be a Olympian, but with injury and self-doubt getting in the way, that dream will no longer become a reality. When O'Connor finishes high school she hopes that she will become part of Disney on Ice. Brenna O’Connor said,“It’s a great new experience, they get to travel, they get to meet new people, they have experiences that are unbelievable.” Petra will travel around the world skating for many different countries.

Senior, Kenzie Willaert works behind the counter at local sporting goods retail store, Dave’s Sports Shop. For Kenzie working in a retail type job has a lot to do with the people she works with and meets. “I’ve met so many awesome people including adults through working at Dave’s, and I have gotten really close to Aaron, Cole and Ford,” three of Kenzie’s co-workers.

Concert Orchestra performs last in the fall concert, playing three pieces that are approximately seven, 12 and four minutes long. Lindsay Conception, Concert Master of Concert Orchestra, explains her duties and responsibilities she has every day. She says, “I love taking on challenges that are about more than just solving a problem, I love to lead creative expeditions like this.”

Sophomore Evan Sand and senior Alden Zeller explore tracks left in the fresh snow. The Naturalist Club provides students with an opportunity to get out and learn about nature in a hands-on way, while doing fun outdoor activities including hiking and camping. “I’m looking forward to the trip up north to Wisconsin later this year,” said Zeller. “It’s a long weekend trip in the woods and we will go hiking, snowshoeing and even forge a few lakes.”
