Stillwater Paints The Town Red for Valentine’s Day
February 21, 2014
Stillwater is “painting the town red” for a very special, romantic Valentine’s Day. This is taking place downtown Stillwater on Feb. 14 through Feb. 16 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Over 30 main street merchants, restaurants and lodges will be participating in this exciting event.
Senior Emily Kronus said, “I had a lot of fun going on the carriage ride last year, and I think it is important that Stillwater continues this tradition each year because it adds character to our town.”
There will be many activities going on, including a free horse-drawn carriage ride along the St. Croix River. This will be on Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. People can be picked up for this lovely ride along the river by the Dock Cafe, behind the Green Room or the Water Street Inn.
