Apple Air Pods become easy, lightweight alternative to earbuds

The new Apple air pods are gaining popularity among students and for good reason. These ear buds have a new design and have plenty of upgrades over the old standard Apple ear buds.

Some of the upgrades consist of the ear buds being wireless, longer lasting battery life and better sound quality to name only a few. Although the Apple air pods are difficult to find as they are not widely available and are usually right off the shelf whenever a new shipment comes in. They are most easily found at the Apple Store or website and usually cost around $159.00.

The first reason why students love the Apple air pods is because they are small and wireless so they do not take up a ton of space when being carried around or not in use.

“I really love the sleek design and wireless features that the Apple ear pods have. They are so easy to carry around and I can’t even feel them when I have them in my pocket,” junior Myles Dodd said.

The battery life also is a major factor in why the Apple Ear pods are gaining popularity. The Apple ear pods last up to 24 hours fully charged.

“It is very convenient how I don’t have to worry about battery life when listening to music,” sophomore Ryan Colburn said.

The sound quality is also vastly improved from the generic Apple ear buds that come with the Apple product and is a huge reason on why the air pods are so hot off the shelves.

“My Apple air pods have better sound than my Beats headphones which is really hard to beat because my Beats were the best headphones I’ve ever had and it’s even more impressive considering that these are ear buds and not headphones,” sophomore Holten King said.

The one thing keeping the Apple air pods away from students is the price as the air pods are $159.00. Most students don’t have that type of money laying around to spend on ear buds.

“The only reason I have the Apple air pods is because my parents got them for me as a present or else I wouldn’t have them. They are way out of my price range,” Dodd said.
