MN Zoo makes up for this year’s worst winter ever
April 18, 2014
With temperatures so cold this winter, Minnesotans had a hard time being active and going out to do things. Minnesota Zoo decided to have a seasonal special due to the “Worst Winter Ever”. From Feb. 26 to March 7 the zoo offered admission for only $10 compared to the usual $18 for adults. Visitors can escape the harsh cold and treat themselves to an indoor bird show, or even take a walk through the zoo’s Tropics Trail.
“I had a lot of fun at the zoo. It was nice to get out of the cold and also see some cool animals!” said junior Nico Coen who took advantage of this special. This special helped a lot of Minnesotans get out of the cold and have a lot of fun at the zoo.

I hadn’t heard about this, but the article provided all the information I needed to know, but was able to be kept short, which is often tough. Good job!

I think this article is really informative for being so short. I agree that the headline is what caught my attention.

I think the title is what caught my attention and made me want to read it. It made me want to know more about how they made up for it and I think it did the title justice.
