Sarah Jessica Parker releases a new line of shoes

Shoes are made for walking and that’s just what shoes will do. No matter what, shoes are a necessity for our daily lives. But we don’t just have one pair of shoes to go with any outfit, that’s not how it works, at least for most girls. Shoes are a way we can express ourselves in a cute, stylish way.
Sarah Jessica Parker has recently come out with a new shoe line only available at Nordstrom. The style is suppose to make women feel stylish and beautiful even though they are not stiletto heels, which makes it very difficult to walk.
“I didn’t want to do sky-high, because I think other people do them really well and I wanted to show that you can have a shoe that’s not sky-high that is still significant and still feels powerful and feminine without being impossible to navigate the streets,” said Parker in an interview with the Los Angeles Times.
Since back in the 1970s, Parker has wanted to start a line of shoes. Her line has a slight vintage style with an elegant flare. However, some seem to think that this line does not fit the Nordstrom style. Thinking that it is too expensive for something too simple to be sold at such a high-end store.
“This line is too expensive for such a simple styled shoe,” said junior Lauren Kelzenberg. “Nothing is special about these shoes, so it is a complete rip-off.”
Although, this shoe line is a wise idea for Nordstrom because it brings in more sales. Whenever a new line is brought into stores it is good for the rise of sales.
“This new line provides more options to the consumers,” added Kelzenberg. “Even though this line doesn’t quite fit the Nordstrom style it does provide a better selection.”
This shoe line was inspired by Parker’s past experiences in show biz and other significant events that have happened to her. Some say that these shoes are similar to ones that Parker’s character ‘Carrie Bradshaw’ from “Sex and the City” had, or is it that she is designing her shoes for comfort.
“It’s how a shoe is made that usually dictates comfort. You can see how nice it feels. There’s really nice padding and it makes such a big difference,” said Parker in an interview with USA Today.
Along with this shoe line comes matching purses and coats, but the meat of this release is the shoes. The shoe line is made up of several different types of shoes and a few different styles. Some are more vintage while others have just a simple elegant flare that will go with many outfits if not all.

You did a nice job of incorporating quotes from Parker from USA Today and also some from Kelzenberg. I enjoyed reading this descriptive article! However, it might’ve been helpful to have a price range of the shoes included, and also a photo of the actual shoes at Nordstrom. Well-written article!
