Johnson says, The goal is to have at least three separate groups of riders so one can be for people who just want to ride for fun, a middle group thats a little faster and the highest group would be people who actually want to race. The more people who join cycling club the more it will prosper and allow for more opportunities for members in years to come.

Many students are becoming more aware and interested in getting involved in cycling club. Helke says, I think it is great that students are willing to start a club and contribute to the school by allowing for more ways for people to get involved.

Johnson says, Fred and I run the club. We have a remind, an Instagram page, we direct everyone and we plan out the rides. Not only do the two boys bike on every ride with anyone who is willing to join them but they also have the responsibility of making sure everything is organized and clear for all the riders.

Sawyer says, Its been a great way to get to know students outside of the classroom! My favorite part about being the club advisor is meeting new students, and learning more about students who I have in orchestra. Anyone who is even a little bit interested in joining the club, they can rest assure they will be welcomed, both by other members of the club as well as by those who run it.

Money is a variable that will drive many away from the club right away without even looking into joining, Helke says, I am glad that I dont have to go out and buy a $2,000 road bike in order to be in the club but instead just to be able to enjoy biking.

Open for business on October 15, the Saint Croix Chocolate Company hosts this years Cararmelpalooza. With exquisite caramels from across the country and fine wine for adults to enjoy, it surely will not be something to miss. Senior Claire Harter says,I think this is a great way to get into the fall spirit.

Saint Croix Chocolate Company is located on the north end of town and is where visitors will go to witness the Caramelpalooza. Senior Claire Harter says,Caramelpalooza can show off the beauty of this small town that is Marine.

Marine on Saint Croix, a quiet town nestled along the bluffs of the Saint Croix river. A picture perfect town to host an event such as the Caramelpalooza. Senior Eric Volkmeier says,This event is a good way to bring money into a small town such as Marine.

Live music will be held during the Caramelpalooza in the gazebo, opposite of Saint Croix Chocolate Company. CaramElvis is one of the many live entertainers present at this years event. Senior Eric Volkmeier says,These sort of events dony normally interest me, but this one does look interesting.
