The iconic Commander building that Tin Bins is located in. The original tower was built in 1898 and is one of Stillwater most iconic buildings. “It makes the space really interesting and I think it’s utilized very well! The unique location, history and space combine to make it a staple in our community” Cat Clements says.

Coffee shops battle for best ‘study spot’

Maddi Hafner enjoying studying by the fireplace inside Caribou.“Caribou has a tranquil fireplace that creates a nice environment for studying and feels less formal than Starbucks” Says Maddi Hafner.

“Coffee shops have a more relaxed atmosphere than school and eliminate the distractions of doing your homework at home” Maddi Hafner says.

Chilkoot Cafe coffee bar and kitchen area. They serve a full menu of great foods and drinks. “At Chilkoot there is more variety (then other coffee shops). You can get different types of really great food with your drink” says Kinsey Weyer.

Kinsey Weyer focused on studying at Chilkoot Cafe. “It feels like I am at a library because it is quiet and a good learning environment” Kinsey says.
