Mackenzie Bottolfson is a junior at SAHS  and lives in Lake Elmo with her mom, dad, and younger brother.  She keeps herself busy through biking, hanging out with friends, participating in community service, and baking.  Along with newspaper, Mackenzie is also involved in National Honors Society, key club, and plays the violin in the Varsity Orchestra.

Jenner receives positive feedback following controversial announcement

Erich Korth will be graduating and going to the University of Minnesota and still has not decided on what he will be majoring in.

Hunter Novak will be graduating and will be going straight into the Marines. Stay safe out there buddy.

Senior Zachary Zellers is going to be attending college at the University of Iowa. What he is most excited for after he graduates is, "Going to film school," Zellers said. The biggest change for Zellers will be living so far away from his family.

Seniors Lauren Jorgensen and Sophia Portelli will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Portelli said, "I will miss the people [at SAHS when I graduate]...NHS and Coffee House, and all of the events that stillwater puts on." Portelli will be majoring in Biology.

Jorgensen signs her chosen college next to her name at the annual college signing day in the Stillwater Area High School College and Career Center. She said, "I'm most excited to start finalizing my career path." Jorgensen will be majoring in Biochemistry.

Senior Jon Koprek will be going to Century for his first year of college, and then plans on transitioning to St. Cloud or St. Thomas. After graduating from SAHS, a big change Koprek will face is not participating in sports anymore. He said he is most excited, "Just to start living on my own...[and] trying to face the world by myself."

Gayle Solsvig (not pictured) works in the College and Career Center and played a major role in this day. She helps students to plan their schooling futures. Solsvig said that she would like all of the graduating seniors to know that, "They can do anything that they choose to do."
