Jordan Fulin is a senior at SAHS. Other than newspaper she is also a part of Students for Social Justice Club and is a member of the Speech team. In her spare time she likes to play the banjo, watch films, or go to concerts.

Panera Bread provides people with all the information they need at their fingertips. Panera’s website lists all the nutrition facts including the ingredients for all of their dishes. Senior Sophie McNurlin says, “I do not consider Panera fast food because their food is fresh.”

Noodles and Company announces clean label commitment. They are eliminating artificial preservatives, sweeteners, colors and flavors from their menu. Noodles and Company uses food people can feel good about, like organic tofu, cage-free eggs and antibiotic-free, hormone-free pork and bacon. Noodles and Company’s website says, “Real cooking, done everyday, right before your eyes. That’s how we do it at Noodles, because that is how food tastes the best.”

Chipotle will always be working on to improve each ingredient they prepare and serve. They want to gain loyal customers. Senior Matt Crea is a regular at Chipotle. “I usually order the quesarito, it is an off menu burrito wrapped inside a cheese quesadilla,” Crea says.

In the world of fast food restaurants, Chipotle Mexican Grill stands out for its commitment to “Food with Integrity.” This means serving foods made with local, sustainably produced and often organic vegetables, beans and meats from naturally raised, not factory farm animals. Senior Matt Crea says, “I enjoy Chipotle because it is unlike any other place and it is delicious.”

The burrito bowl is one of the most popular items on Chipotle’s menu because it gives the customer the opportunity to pick and choose what they want by building their own bowl. Chipotle is the first national restaurant company to cook only with non-GMO ingredients. On the Chipotle website it says, “The meat and dairy products we buy come from animals that are not genetically modified.”

Both Tom Styrbicki (left) and Mark Johnson (right) are on a mission for some groceries. Little did either of them know that they share a love for Stillwater and the people in it. Johnson says, "We just love it here. I moved out here because of family but this place is so beautiful."

Reluctant at first, Isaac(lastname) (left) and Barbara Olmsted (right) talk about what school Isaac is attending. As the conversation progresses they both become more comfortable and pose together as though they were a grandmother and grandson pair. olmsted says to Isaac after he shares that he is in a program called PSEO, "Oh thats so neat! Your'e basically getting your college credits in high school!"

When meeting fir the first time, Jill Kaufenberg (right) and Laura Richert (left) have no idea how many things they have in common. Both women share ties with Stillwater and they both work in the medical field, Richert as a nurse and Kaufenberg with a company that makes medical equipment.

The Twinkle Parade starts at the Dock Cafe and ends with the lighting of a 40 ft balsam fir tree. Jerry Helmberger explained, “Overall, it was a fabulous event and great for the city and the kids.”

Black was once known as Muddsuckers, a coffee shop located in the south east Como neighborhood. It was owned by Brad Cimaglio, one of the creators of Black: Coffee and Waffle Bar. According to their website, "In January of 2014 with the help of project manager Kelly Nelson and Rebecca Powers, they undertook a complete re-brand project into what is now Black Coffee and Waffle Bar."
