Both senior and junior soloists were featured in the concert. These kids had the opportunity to play in front of a large crowd when they visited the Kennedy Center as well as the smaller audience at the home concert. The soloists played very well, all their hard work paid off, and that was clear during the concert, junior Joe Weber says.

The performance was very pleasing to the audience as well. Many people came to see the concert and the auditorium was packed. I was surprised at how many people came to see the concert, and they played very well. I think that the audience enjoyed it, junior Linnea Rustad says.

The band recently traveled to Washington DC to play at the John F. Kennedy Center. This was the largest place they have ever played at which helped the band be more comfortable on stage while also providing a new experience for them. Being able to travel and play with this group is a really cool experience, and having the chance to play on that large stage I think helped our performance overall, sophomore Maya Yokanovich says.
