Hi! My name is Elli Swanson and I am a photographer for the Stillwater Area School newspaper.  I am a junior and I really enjoy hanging out with my friends and taking my dog for walks. I am most looking forward to learning how to take higher quality photos and working on my writing skills.

The poster includes dates and information about Deaf Awareness Day, held on April 27 and will be hosted at Stillwater Area High School by the American Sign Language classes. The Deaf community will gather together and be able to commune with each other, see people they may have not seen in awhile and participate in fun activities.

Downtown Stillwater the St. Croix River is frozen, but there is not as much snow on the ground due to the flexuating weather this winter. Over the years there seems to be not as much snow compared to previous winters.

Brookview Elementary school, located in Woodbury, is considering an expansion to the school for the increasing amount the students the are to come in the future. The school is built around multiple neighborhoods and are soon to grow.
