Boys soccer finishes as state runner-up
An incredible two year run by the boys soccer team came to an end on Nov. 2nd with a 2-0 loss to Wayzata, the same team Stillwater beat in the state championship the previous year. Despite the loss, Stillwater gave its fans and the community something to be extremely proud of. This Alt copy did a good job of informing the reader but in a way thats what hurt it. This Alt copy lacked the visual aspect which made it very boring to look at.Showing the interview may have seemed like a good idea but it seems like it would have been a better fit for a main story, not a Alt Copy.

I believe that this alt. copy was very well made. Even though there is mostly words on there it seems as if it doesn’t matter because the background image is really good. I also like the achievements and rankings instead of just fact paragraphs. Good job.

I was drawn into this article because of the background, and there were many good facts and quotes included. One thing that I wash would have been changed is the headline is a little hard to see I think it should be stronger and stand out more.

The thing that caught my eye on this alt copy was the picture in the backround. It looked very good when it was done and it also includes a lot of very good information, stats, and quotes. Had some good backround and also helped to explain the topic to the reader very well.

I think that this story was very well done. I like it a lot how the background image was a picture during the state championship game. The quotes were very compelling towards shaping the story and the wide variety of quotes made the topic very well known to the reader. The stats column were also a very good touch to the story as it gave background on how successful the soccer team is.
