‘Catching Fire’ to bring another reaping this fall
People are beginning to count down to Nov. 22, the day another reaping will occur and hundreds will gather to hear their victors. Their excitement only increasing as the day gets closer. This is the day the sequel to The Hunger Games will be released. It has been long awaited for and fans will not be disappointed.
Catching Fire, the second movie of The Hunger Games series is coming soon and fans are getting ready to form lines out the doors of theaters. The drama and romance in this movie seem to be even greater than the ever, winning over anybody who might be interested.
If it turns out to be anything like the book, then it will have no problem topping charts everywhere. As Peeta and Katniss travel through the districts on their victory tour, fans will be on the edge of their seats waiting to see what will happen next.
“I’m looking forward to how the book is adapted into a movie and how they created the arena and other scenes in the film,” said senior Sarah Hetrich.
Most everyone has read the books in this series. They are a huge part of why it is so popular. The books are what created the story, and got people involved in the world of Katniss Everdeen.
“The books are always much better than the movies. I will be pleasantly surprised if the movie is better than the book. With books you can create your own idea of a character, they may have freckles and bright blue eyes to you, but in the movie they could be the complete opposite from what you imagined,” said senior Lyndsay Kast.
It’s hard to say whether the movie will be as good as the first, but fans have their hopes and dreams for it. All of which include knowing it will be just as good, if not better. With a completely new setting, but the same romance and love for the characters, this movie is sure to flourish.
“It is hard to tell whether the movie will turn out to be good or bad, but I think that the people who liked The Hunger Games will be excited and probably like Catching Fire as well,” said Hetrich.
Some fans were not all that into the first movie, but are still hopeful for this one to turn out well.
“I am excited and kind of intrigued to see how the second one lives up to the expectation of being better than the first because I think that the first movie didn’t follow the events in the book very well,” said sophomore Simon Leppicello.
On that note, people are already purchasing their tickets and preparing for that midnight premiere of their favorite series. They cannot wait any longer and are positive that it will be a huge hit that they will not want to stop watching.

I really liked the lead, it provided the needed information with a descriptive tone. The literary devices throughout the article helped keep it interesting and made it an enjoyable read.

Way to not give anything away. I thought your lead promoted excitement for the movie and clearly expressed your view on it without telling the reader any spoilers.

Great lead for the article. I really like that you didn’t say weather or not the movie would be good or bad. Plus good use of Sr’s and Sophomores.
