Apple has recently introduced the iPhone 6, displayed above, and the iPhone6+, following the route of bigger screen with their competitors. The iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch screen and the iPhone 6+ has a 5.5 inch screen.
On Sept. 19, the world watched and heard in awe as Apple introduced its newest additions to the Apple Collection. The first is the iPhone , with a 4.7- inch screen, and many new features. The second, and more surprising, the iPhone +, with a 5.5 – inch screen.
With many phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the LG G3 having such big screens, Apple decided to follow that route. Many people who have bought the latest phones have talked about how great they are. Others explain why it is a disappointment. Here are some advantages and disadvantages to the new Apple iPhone and iPhone Plus.
The first big feature the iPhone has is a bigger and a better screen. The iPhone Plus even has a 1080p HD screen. This new feature captures many buyer’s interest. With the screen bigger and having it come in clearer, it definitely catches peoples’ eyes.
Technology integrationist, Michael Teachout explained his thoughts of his new iPhone and what he likes. He said, “It’s a much larger screen, and that’s probably the biggest difference that Apple introduced at the moment.”
A big thing for Apple, and why the iPhone sells so much is their popularity. Almost everywhere you go in the U.S., people have iPhones. Whether going to the grocery store or maybe a restaurant, you can see someone using an Apple iPhone. Due to this, kids as young as two and three years old, and elders as old as years, have seen, used, or have heard of the iPhone.
Loading ...Teachout talked about the iPhones popularity. “I think it’s so popular because A: It’s a new item, and people are excited to try it. B: Apple has been really big over the last seven years or so, since they really reinvented the phone,” Teachout explained.
Another new thing that Apple iPhone users will like is the new shape and material the iPhone is made from. It supposedly is tougher and won’t break as easy.
Junior Andrew Kangas commented on this. He said, “I like the shape of the new iPhone, but I think with the larger screen space, it is going to lead to more cracked screens still.”
Finally, the question is, is the iPhone the right phone for you? Junior Marissa Matchey explained, “I think it is too big for a kid to have, but if you are an adult, it would be nice to have because it has a bigger screen for doing work on it.”
The iPhone and iPhone Plus is definitely a interesting phone. The newest feature, and the most controversial topic of the new iPhone, is the iPhone’s new screen.
Apple rolled the dice by introducing this new iPhone. The conclusion still stands though, with all the other new features Apple introduced, people can not wait to get their hands on them, and this new phone is going to be in many peoples’ hands in the near future.

The first thing that made me want to read this article was the caption. You got good informative interviews that state positives and negatives for the new iPhone, which is important. Good job!

The thing that drew me to this article was the picture. Stunning. I love how you get straight to the point and just say “here are the advantages and disadvantages”. Also, the quotes and sources used are really good!

This article was very informative. It would be a good one for someone to read if they were thinking about getting the new iphone. I would have liked to know of any down sides to the phone, if there were any.

This article was interesting , because who doesn’t want to know about the new iPhone? I would like to know more about the drawbacks that it has. Marissa does say that it is too big for kids, but what about the bending in the pocket when it’s sat on.
