People are forced to shelter in place at their homes. Therefore, food delivery services such as Ubereats and others have started to deliver more food to families front steps.

Food delivery services have made a mark throughout the community. Many households use delivery services such as Uber Eats or Doordash for on the go convenience purposes. These drop off food companies have received ample amounts of attention this year especially because of the tragic Coronavirus.
Families across the district are quarantined and stuck inside their homes. The district as a whole has become unable to support many popular restaurants. However, food delivery services are responding to this nationwide issue, and are able to bring the restaurant right to your front step.
Doordash, Uber Eats, and many more food services started implementing a no-contact delivery service as the pandemic began to worsen. This allows the meals to be left on your front step therefore no face to face proximity is necessary.
“This is a great idea put in place for social distancing and slowing the curve,” Food delivery user Shelby Barwick explained.
Thirty nine percent of US citizens started using food delivery services since the virus began rapidly spreading throughout the nation. Food delivery companies have flourished throughout this scary time of our lives.
“It has been nice because we can still support and eat at our favorite restaurants without leaving our home,” Barwick explained.
The growth rate within Ube Eats, Doordash, Postmates, and other delivery companies have tripled within the previous month. These companies are now expanding their restaurant options and delivery boundaries.

Uber Eats, Doordash, Postmates and many other delivery companies have gotten extensive amounts of attentiveness through this time of lockdown. across the nation, delivery companies have created a stress-free environment for many restaurants and all families throughout the U.S.
