The Carpenter, the seventh album by the Avett Brothers, was another big hit for this folk rock group. Lead vocals Seth and Scott Avett continue synthesizing as a harmonizing duo to complement front-porch acoustic sounds. This indie bluegrass mixture landed #40 on US Billboard’s Top Rock Albums in 2012 and peaked at #4 on US Billboard’s 200.
