Running a blog may seem like all fun and games, but Janel has a lot of behind the scene work to get done. She must spend a large amount of time on emailing and dealing with brands. While there can be a large amount of business work, there are still perks for Janels job that she likes to take note of, A lot of what I can do I can wear sweatpants, jokes Janel.

Janels blog Nellie Bellie features a variety of unique and aesthetically pleasing photos for her viewers to enjoy, however, there are other pictures featured to show off who Janel is; a down-to-earth, fun loving mom with a passion. While Janel does enjoy the popularity her posts can receive, some of her favorite creations are the less noted, My favorite is the farmers market, cooking for real, no pressures. I love to make things with real food, I like to make cabbage pie or tomato cobbler or something with farmer’s market stuff that’s my favorite, and it’s not the most popular, says Janel.

The BOLD proposal was first introduced Dec. 17 discussing the closure of Marine, Withrow and Oak Park Elementary schools. New club teaches Korean culture

The bar uses “Dogwood”, a coffee company located in many locations scattered around the Twin Cities. The company develops close relations with its sources and roasts its own beans. “We have come to know and work with great people in our coffee experience so far, and well strive to continue this process for years to come,” said the Dogwood coffee website.

The Bar is located on Como Ave in Minneapolis, which can be located off of 35W and near Van Cleve Park. It is a perfect spot for this winter season. February means love is in the air and there are waffles to share, the Bars Instagram account said.

The interior, though on the smaller side, bustles with people and smells like coffee and warm butter. There is a bar where customers can view their drinks being made. The new interior provides an open space for members of the community and students near the university to relax, hang out and enjoy a drink and a waffle, said the Bars website.

All of our beans come from local quality roasters Dogwood Coffee Co, the website stated. The list of coffee drinks are relatively stream-lined, but customers can find a list of non-coffee drinks as well. Options like chai tea or Grey Duck chais are available as well.

Black was once known as Muddsuckers, a coffee shop located in the south east Como neighborhood. It was owned by Brad Cimaglio, one of the creators of Black: Coffee and Waffle Bar. According to their website, In January of 2014 with the help of project manager Kelly Nelson and Rebecca Powers, they undertook a complete re-brand project into what is now Black Coffee and Waffle Bar.
